Well, I have to write this course there is something that had bothered me yesterday. It's regarding my work.
Here it goes...
I am working on the QA side. Thus, I need to buy chemicals and standards. And hence, occasionally, need to order from outside local supplier. And because of this, I was once told to let the supplier decides on which courier service to deliver me the goods. Ok, that is brilliant since I need not have to crack my head then.
However, this time, I suppose there is a miscommunication or lack of communication, the supplier didn't call up to inform me the delivery date. I shan't drag on to explain the delivery thing. Thus, when the express service guy arrived, he showed up with a invoice on the GST of the delivery or what which the bill is too wordy to read on especially if you are too busy.
Anyway, I just email a scan of the billing to one of my accountant and she informed me of the company having an account with the courier company so we need not pay them... To my delight that's how the finance department work with ease. Cool! However, problem arises as that will only valid if the delivery if before-hand. Hahaha! I got to know about that only on the 2nd day whereby the accountant I tally with is on leave... *Bleah~*
No choice, recieved an unfriendly email from another accountant which after reading it made me uncomfortable. I hesitate for a moment whether to reply in a harsh manner, and I did send her harsh email. It reads fine and friendly which my colleagues have commented. But, that isn't the usual style I would write an email.
After sending it, I am sad if it would offended the accountant. I never would like to hurt anyone for his job. Course, this isn't right. Human has got feelings. No matter how tough he can be. However, when you yourself are hurt by someone, your first reaction will be to protect yourself and you tend to react like them, hurting others.
I would like to apologise the lady if she is mad after reading the email. However, she called up and advised me to let the deliveryman spoke to her and handle with the $$ involved matter.
Haiz... Why do I have to encounter this? I am very moody about it the whole night and am depressed. Luckily the negative effect had subsided. I am back to normal. Hopefully today and next week is a brighter side of time.
